JCB juniors earn prestigious scholarships
While John C. Birdlebough High School seniors consider their post-secondary plans, 13 members of the class of 2025 are also gearing up for the future after receiving hundreds of thousands in scholarship funds.
The scholarship recipients are members of the junior class who excel in the classroom while exhibiting tremendous character and citizenship. This year, AMOUNT in scholarships were awarded to JCB juniors who met specific criteria. The funds include significant partial scholarships to select postsecondary institutions if the student chooses to attend that particular university.
“I see the effort these students put into their studies each day, and they deserve these scholarships,” said JCB High School Principal Thomas Bailer. “They are well-rounded students who make positive contributions to our school community. I am so proud of them.”
The following students and their awards are as follows: Kyra Mosher (Alfred University Scholars Award); Kevin Kurzinski (Elmira College Key Award); Danielle Sussey (Keuka College George H. Ball Achievement Award); Olivia Edwards and Miley Esposito (Lemoyne College Heights Award); Conner Klock (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Rensselaer Medal); Ty Corey, Logan Greenough, Emma Fox and Katherine Kraft (St. Bonaventure University Bonnie Scholarship); Tyler Bertrand (University of Rochester Bausch & Lomb Award); Landon Guertin (University of Rochester Frederick Douglas & Susan B.
