Phoenix Holds Physical Education Student of the Year Ceremony
Students at Emerson J. Dillon Middle School recently packed into the gymnasium, eager to find out which of them would win the Student of the Year award for the 2023-2024 school year.
Each grade level, from grades 5-8, sees one male and one female student receive the honor of Student of the Year. Students who received this award had their name and photo put up on the wall outside the gymnasium, as well as being treated to a pizza party. The following students received the Student of the Year award this school year.
In fifth grade, the winners were Mariana Mulpagano and Landon Munger. For sixth grade, the winners were Kinley Barton and Zach Rienhardt. For seventh grade, the winners were Olivia Nolan and Knox Wallace. For eighth grade, the winners were Mason Morris and Adisyn Spataro.
The students who were chosen received this award based on their exceptional leadership, selflessness, politeness, kindness, honesty, responsibility, and respectfulness. In addition to having their photo and name put on the Student of the Year wall, students also received a trophy and a shirt.
