During the last week of school before holiday break, EJD Middle School students got into the spirit while getting some shopping done at the Polar Express holiday shop. The Polar Express is a treasured EJD tradition, where students are able to select gifts for each family member they’ll be waking up with on Christmas morning at no cost to them. A classroom was transformed into a holiday shop for the day, with hundreds of donated items lining the walls and covering tables -from cookware and home signs to games and hot sauce flights, there was something for everyone! The library was transformed into a wrapping station for the day, with staff as well as JCB students helping wrap presents. This event would not be possible without the support of the community -a huge thank you goes out to all of our donors! Your generosity continues to create a positive ripple effect throughout the Phoenix CSD community this time of year.
