PCSD Employees Celebrate Milestones
Thirty-three Phoenix Central School District employees were recognized during a recent all-staff day for reaching service milestones this year.
The employees, who combined for more than 600 years of service to the district, each received a pin commemorating their dedication to the PCSD.
Employees recognized for 15 years of service were: Nick Alibrandi (special education); Jenna Fraser (special education); Paul Lyman (physical education); Kelly Pelton (teaching assistant); Chad Rowe (physical education); Amber Tyrell (first grade); and Richard Hyde (head custodian).
Employees celebrating 20 years of service were Katherine Barber (guidance counselor); Patrick Fitch (assistant principal); Laura Gratz (first grade); Mickey Haney (district clerk); Heather Hunter (English); Patty Leach (teaching assistant); Jennifer Meyers (school counselor); Carrie Spoto (first grade); and Doug Zogg (technology).
Fourteen employees were honored for 25 years of service each, including Jennifer Astafan (teaching assistant); Alice Benjamin (physical education); Amy Bonnier (fifth grade); Heather Cannella (second grade); Tracey Ford (French); Janelle Matlock (fifth grade); Gene Mills (physical education); Jill Pitcher (math); Newt Preeman (O&M); Andrew Robertson (kindergarten); Christi Sharkey (clerical); Denise Walberger (math); Keith Walberger (physical education); and Ellen Wilson (food service).
Longtime district employees K.C. Bechard (English), Debbie Gerace (transportation) and Joseph Ventura (social studies) were each recognized for 30 years of service to the district.
