School Business Administrator

The Phoenix Central School District currently has an opening for a School Business Administrator.  Acceptable candidates for the position must have New York State Administrative Certification at the District Level (SDBL or SBA).  The District seeks a candidate with a record of successful experience in the tasks related to school finance.  They must also have experience in preparing capital and operations budgets, fiscal reporting, long range budgetary planning, risk management and fiscal control and management within the realm of New York State Education Law and New York State Education Department rules and regulations.  They must also have working knowledge of the transportation, facility maintenance, and food services operations related to the New York State public school district.

Compensation

Salary range will be between $125,000 to $155,000.

Anticipated start date: 7/1/2025

Substitute School Bus Drivers

The Phoenix Central School District is currently accepting applications for substitute bus drivers. Candidates must be 21 years of age and possess a clean, valid driver’s license. CDL B preferred, but not required. There is paid training to obtain a CDL B for the right candidates. Substitute Custodial Workers

The Phoenix Central School District is currently accepting applications for substitute custodial workers. Candidates must have knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment. Candidates should have the ability to perform cleaning tasks, follow oral and written instructions and use hand and power cleaning equipment. Must be flexible with hours, as shifts vary. Substitute Licensed Practical Nurse and Registered Nurse

The Phoenix Central School District is currently hiring Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse substitutes. Substitute Food Service Employees

The Phoenix Central School District Food Service Department is currently looking for food service professionals who are available between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Successful candidates would start as a substitute in the Food Service Department and can apply for a permanent employment as positions become available. Shifts vary. Food service, retail and cashier experience are very helpful. Interested candidates must complete this application and submit all materials to the district office.
