The following Phoenix Central School District Transportation Department has a vacancy for a Bus Aide (Monitor). Candidates must possess a high school diploma/equivalent and have an application on file. Rate of pay is $17.87 per hour. This position is for 25 hours per week. Single health Insurance day 1. Health Teacher

The Phoenix Central School District is seeking interested applicants to fill an anticipated vacancy working with middle school students as a probationary, full-time Health teacher at Emerson J. Dillon Middle School. New York State Health Education certification is required. Additional extensions and content specific certification is preferred. Applicants should submit a letter of interest, resume, proof of certification and references.

Substitute School Bus Drivers

The Phoenix Central School District is currently accepting applications for substitute bus drivers. Candidates must be 21 years of age and possess a clean, valid driver’s license. CDL B preferred, but not required. There is paid training to obtain a CDL B for the right candidates. Interested candidates must complete the application and turn in all materials to the district office.

Substitute Custodial Workers

The Phoenix Central School District is currently accepting applications for substitute custodial workers. Candidates must have knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment. Candidates should have the ability to perform cleaning tasks, follow oral and written instructions and use hand and power cleaning equipment. Must be flexible with hours, as shifts vary. Interested candidates must complete this application and submit all materials to the district office. 

Substitute Clerical Workers

Substitute Teachers

The Phoenix Central School District is currently accepting applications for Substitute Teachers (K-12). Candidates with a teacher certification issued by the New York State Education Department are preferred. Interested candidates must complete this application and submit all materials to the district office. 

Substitute Teaching Assistants

The Phoenix Central School District is currently accepting applications for Substitute Teaching Assistants (K-12). Candidates with a teaching assistant certification issued by the New York State Education Department are preferred. Interested candidates must complete this application and submit all materials to the district office.

Substitute Licensed Practical Nurse and Registered Nurse

The Phoenix Central School District is currently hiring Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse substitutes. Candidates must possess a valid Registered Professional Nurse license or a Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by New York State. Interested candidates must complete this application and submit all materials to the district office.

Substitute Food Service Employees

The Phoenix Central School District Food Service Department is currently looking for food service professionals who are available between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Successful candidates would start as a substitute in the Food Service Department and can apply for a permanent employment as positions become available. Shifts vary. Food service, retail and cashier experience are very helpful. Interested candidates must complete this application and submit all materials to the district office.
